Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 5:00 PM at the Newland Town Hall Board Room, located at 301 Cranberry Street, Newland NC.  The purpose of this public hearing is to seek public input on paragraph 81.09 of Chapter 81 (Animals) in the Town of Newland policy book.

Town of Newland residents who wish to speak on this issue must sign up in advance by calling Jessica Buchanan, Clerk to the Board, at (828)-733-2023 ext. 1 no later t28han Friday, September 27th at 3:00 PM.  Town of Newland residents are also encouraged to submit public comments on this matter via email to clerk@townofnewland.org by Friday, September 27th, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
